New Assistant Managing Director

Bank Saderat PLC announces that, after 27 years of valuable service to the bank, and a banking career spanning 40 years in the City of London, Mr Robert Speedy has retired from his position as Assistant Managing Director.

BSPLC is further pleased to announce that, with effect from 28th April 2008, Mr Christopher Wakefield has been appointed Assistant Managing Director in succession to Mr Speedy.

Mr Wakefield previously held the position of Manager, Loans & Trade Finance and he has been succeeded in this post by the Assistant Manager of the Department, Mr Mohammad Hassani (Telephone No. 020 7601 1998 E-mail hassani@saderat-plc.com).

Mr Wakefield also holds the position of the Bank’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Compliance Officer.
